“As a mother of two and a working woman, going to the gym and doing exercise was my last priority then.
When I joined Curves, my goal was to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. As I was looking at the equipment of Curves and the women working out, they seemed to be enjoying themselves so much.
It looked like it was just such a breeze to exercise but it’s not!
Good thing there are friendly and approachable coaches to guide us at all the equipment. After few more visits at Curves, I finally got the hang of it. The music that was being played is so upbeat that it makes me want to dance! A voice over instructs us when to move to the next station and also when to check our pulse rate.
After 200 workouts, I lost 20 lbs – that’s more than what I expected to lose and I feel so grateful and so proud!
I keep getting… “What’s your secret? How’d you lose all that weight?” And my short answer is “CURVES – balanced eating PLUS effective exercise.”
